A choral, collaborative project on sexual dissidence, pleasure, and collective voice.
Resonancias is a collaborative and experimental project developed in 2019, engaging with sexual dissidence and pleasure from a queer perspective. It unfolds through a series of hosted encounters with a group of sixteen participants over four months, exploring personal experiences of sexuality through voice, movement, and writing.

Rather than producing a unified narrative, the process generated a choral structure: a multiplicity of voices that resonate, overlap, and contradict each other.
Process
The work developed through collective practices of narration, vocal experimentation, and bodily expression, in which language extended beyond the verbal into gesture, movement, and sound.
Grounded in lived experience, these encounters created a shared space where intimacy could be articulated collectively and transformed into performative material.
Forms
The research was translated into performative and spatial forms:
Choral performance: Cuerpo de Resonancias is composed of seven choreographic sequences addressing experiences of sexuality, identity, and embodiment
Installation: a Pepper’s Ghost projection and a spatial composition of costumes
Portraits and drawings: visual works emerging from the collective process
Documentary: a filmic record tracing the development of the project
These forms extend the collective process into staged and spatial compositions, maintaining the multiplicity of voices rather than resolving them.
Context
The performance was presented at Graner Centre de Creació de Dansa i Arts Vives and at MACBA, and the full project was later shown in an exhibition at Homesession.
The project was developed with the support of Homesession.org and the Art for Change of La Caixa Foundation.
